It’s always busy around my house, even when we do nothing all day. I am a mom to twin toddlers, affectionately known as twin tornadoes or the duo of destruction. They go-go-go all the time, so when they nap, that is my time. The past few weeks, however, have been turned up to 11 so to speak, busy-wise. I decided a couple of weeks ago to launch my own custom kids clothing store on Etsy, and since then I have tried to work on projects for that every day. There are the samples to be made for sale, a logo to design, a business license to apply for, and lots and lots of pictures to take, accounts to register and much more. My head is spinning. I am fortunate to have an amazing friend in Amanda who set up all my website and blog, right after she helped me corral my kids at a touch-a-truck event yesterday afternoon. Now that’s a dedicated friend. My husband has allowed me to spend his days off holed up in the bedroom sewing and working while he is living the life of stay-at-home Dad. Today I sent them all to the zoo to enjoy the nice weather and get out of the house. (It’s so quiet it’s almost disorienting!)
So far I have been able to list a dozen or so items, some pre-made ready to ship, some are samples I will make to order. I also have a to-do list for our Disney trip in just more than 2 months, and whipped up this cute UP sweatshirt for the amazing Amanda for her birthday. I have so many projects on my wish list, and I am enjoying working on all of them.
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you’ll check out my wares on my shop.
